Day 1 Home City - Beijing
Depart for Beijing on your transpacific flight. Move your watch one day ahead as you cross the International dateline.

Day 2 Beijing - Shanghai
Upon your arrival into Shanghai Airport meet your friendly tour guide and transfer to the hotel.

Day 3 Shanghai (B/L/D)
Visit the Jade Buddha Temple, the exquisite Yuan Garden and a Silk Rug Factory. For lunch, savor a delicious Dim Sum meal. Take a walk on the Bund. Welcome Dinner.

Day 4 Shanghai - Suzhou (B/L/D)
Visit the 88-story Jin Mao Tower. For lunch, sample Mongolian BBQ cuisine. Walk down to Nanjing Road. Coach to Suzhou, the "Venice of the East", where you’ll overnight.

Day 5 Suzhou - Hangzhou (B/L/D)
Suzhou not only has beautiful scenery, it is also the heart of China’s silk weaving industry. Relax on a serene boat cruise along the Grand Canal and visit a Silk Factory to explore this rich part of China’s history. If time permits, stop by the Master of Nets Garden. Travel by bus to Hangzhou.  In the evening appreciate the warmth, beauty and romance of the city with a locally flavored dinner and a stroll through Hefang Street, an ancient street where you will find many carvings, paintings and coins from the Ming Dynasty.

Day 6 Hangzhou (B/L/D)
Enjoy a boat ride on the tranquil waters of West Lake. Visit the Six Harmony Pagoda and the famous Dragon Well "Longjing Plantation" for a cup of the delicious green tea.

Day 7 Hangzhou - Xian  (B/L/D)
After breakfast, transfer to Hangzhou Airport for the flight to Xian. Upon arrival stop at the Art Ceramic & Lacquer Factory. In the evening, savor a delicious dinner featuring 4 kinds of dumplings and watch a Tang Dynasty show.

Day 8 Xian - Beijing (B/L/D)
After breakfast visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Mosque. Head to the mighty Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses guarding the tomb of emperor Qin Shi Huang. Board a domestic flight to Beijing. Upon arrival dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 9 Beijing (B/L/D)
Visit Tian An Men Square, the Forbidden City and the beautiful Summer Palace. Enjoy dinner at a Chinese Dim Sum restaurant which is very popular with the Beijing locals.
 
Day 10 Beijing (B/L/D)
Embark on a daylong excursion. Walk the mighty Badaling Great Wall. En route, visit Jade Factory. Take a photo stop at the Olympic sites where you will see the Bird Nest Stadium and Water Cube Aquatic Centre. Visit the Cloisonné Factory to experience the art of Chinese pottery-making. For dinner, try some local dishes.

Day 11 Beijing (B/L/D)
In the morning, visit the Temple of Heaven where many locals participate in Taiji. Visit Pandas at Beijing Zoo. Sample the Western Buffet at Patio at the Silk Alley Market and to seek your bargains. Enjoy the table Chinese meal for the lunch. After lunch, enjoy some bargain shopping at the Silk Market. Reflect on your trip as you savor a delicious Peking Duck Farewell Dinner.

Day 12 Beijing – Home City (B)
After breakfast, there will be some free time to explore or pack.  Say goodbye to China as you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight home.
