Chinapac: Luggage Restrictions for China Tours

What are the luggage restrictions for flying to China?
For travel between Canada and the United States, a first bag fee of $25 applies; for travel between Canada/USA and Asia, a second bag fee of $70 applies.

Some carriers currently offer an allowance of two checked luggages with total dimensions (length + width + height) not exceeding 107 inches (273 cm). A single piece of luggage must not be more than 62 inches (158 cm). The maximum weight per piece is 50 lbs (23 kg). Each passenger is entitled to carry one standard article and one personal article. The combined dimensions of each item must not be 46 inches (115 cm) and weigh no more than 22 lbs (10 kg). All carry-on times must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat.

Do domestic flights within China have luggage restrictions?
China domestic flights have stringent luggage restrictions allowing one piece of checked baggage per person, which must not exceed 44 lbs (20 kg), plus one carry-on bag that does not exceed 11 lbs (5 kg). Baggage in excess of allowances will incur excess baggage charges. We strongly recommend that you travel light! Limit your baggage to one piece of checked luggage and one carry-on bag per person.

In China, airport security is very strict. Passengers are not allowed carry on any drinks, including bottled water. All drinks must be put in check-in luggage.
