Will I need electrical adaptors when travelling in China?
220 V/50 Hz is the standard in China. Most 4 and 5 star hotels are also wired for standard North American 110-volt electrical appliances, but it is best to bring your own electrical adaptors as they may not be easily available in some areas.
Will I have Internet access?
Internet and email are popular in most cities and provinces in China. Most hotels that you’ll visit on your China tour are equipped with cable/telephone access to the Internet. Internet cafes are abundant through China, and are usually inexpensive. You should note that some websites are restricted within China. Internet is not available on cruise ships.
Be cautious about sharing sensitive information and passwords when using public Internet connections and computers.
