Day 2 (Thu) – Beijing (B/L/-)
Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Summer Palace.

Day 3 (Fri) – Beijing (B/L/-)
Badaling Great Wall (2 hours visit at least), Jade stone workshop visit en route.

Photo-stop at the Bird Nest & Water Cube.
Optional: Kung Fu Show with Peking Duck dinner CAD97/person or pay locally in Beijing in USD

Day 4 (Sat) – Beijing (B/L/-)
Temple of Heaven (watch local people doing all kinds of morning exercise, including Chinese Tai Chi), & Pearl factory visit. Hutong tour by rickshaw with a home visit.

Day 5 (Sun) – Beijing/Xian (B/L/-)
Fly to Xi’an. Visit to the Provincial Museum & Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day 6 (Mon) – Xian (B/L/SD)
Full day excursion to the Terra cotta Warriors Museum and visit to the ceramics & pottery workshop en route. Enjoy the Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Show tonight.

Day 7 (Tue) – Xian/Lhasa (B/-/-)
Fly to Lhasa. Meet and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day at leisure for acclimatization.

Day 8 (Wed) – Lhasa (B/L/-)
After breakfast, guided sightseeing with the Lhasa’s cardinal landmark- Potala Palace. This massive 13-storeyed building used to be the highest building prior to the early period of last century, used to be the former winter abode for the Dalai Lamas. It looks incredibly magnificent from a distance and could be viewed from various places around the town. As the nation’s supreme relic, the palace dates back to 7th century A.D. In the afternoon, visit Sera Monastery, which was founded in 1419 by Sakya Yeshe, a disciple of Tsongkhapa. The “Buddhism Scriptures Debating” in Sera is very famous.

Day 9 (Thu) – Lhasa (B/L/-)

Full day visit to the most revered religious structure in Tibet – Jokhang Temple, the most sacred temple in Tibet, refers to “Buddha’s House” in Tibetan language because the main statue enshrined is said to be made by Buddha Sakyamuni himself in his lifetime. Jokhang Temple is the convergence of Tibet’s Spiritual and secular life, like Mecca for the Muslims, here you can meet all the tribes from Tibetan plateau. The surrounding market is called Barkhor, one of the most important religious paths, which also assembles people for shopping. In the afternoon, visit Norbulingkha, the summer palace of the Dalailama.

Day 10 (Fri) – Lhasa/Shanghai (B/-/-)
Fly to Shanghai via Chengdu. Meet and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day be free for your own leisure.
Hotel: Ocean Hotel Shanghai 4* or similar

Day 11 (Sat) – Shanghai (B/L/-)
Full day visit to the Yu Garden, the Shanghai Museum, the Bund, Xintiandi and Pudong New Development Zone.
Optional: Acrobatic Show with dinner CAD97/person or pay locally in USD.

Day 12 (Sun) – Shanghai/Suzhou/Shanghai (B/L/-)
Excursion to the water town Suzhou, including the Garden of Master of Nets, Silk Spinning Factory and Pingjiang Road Old Town Area.

Departure transfer to airport.
