Day 1 Home City - Beijing
Your journey begins with your transpacific flight. Move your watch a day ahead as you cross the International Dateline.
Day 2 Beijing
Welcome to Beijing, the political and cultural center of the world's most populous nation. You will be met and transferred to 4-star hotel.
Day 3 Beijing
Full day City Tour to Tian An Men Square, the largest public plaza in the world and the Forbidden City which houses numerous priceless treasures. Two-dozen emperors lived here from the 15th to the early 20th century. Also visit the beautiful Summer Palace. Lastly, we will visit the Panda's Garden in Beijing Zoo, where they breed the largest numbers of pandas as an institution.

On a daylong excursion, you will have an photo opportunity at the Beijing Olympic Center. Continue to the Great Wall Badaling and walk along one of the largest man-made project in history. En route, you will also visit the ancient Changling of Ming Dynasty Tombs with Sacred Way. If time permits, a visit to the Jade Carving Factory will be arranged. Enjoy a Peking Opera in the evening.

Temple of Heaven, Beijing
Day 5 Beijing
Tour the Temple of Heaven to see local people doing Taiji. After that, visit the Beijing City Planning and view a 3D film showing the history and change of Beijing throughout the years. Enjoy the Hutong Tour by tricycle through the ancient residential areas. If time permits, a visit to the Pearl Workshop will be arranged. A delicious Peking Duck Dinner is planned.

After breakfast, take late morning flight to Xian. Arrive in Xian, the ancient capital over 1100 years and transfer to the 4-star hotel. Visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Provincial History Museum.

Full day excursion starting at the Terra Cotta Warriors site. The Horses are in battle formation guarding the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Later, visit the Ceramics and Pottery Center. Enjoy an amazing Tang Dynasty Singing and Dancing Show with a Dumpling Dinner.

Day 8 Xian - Shanghai
Take a morning flight to Shanghai. Welcome to Shanghai, the legendary seaport and the most populous city of the world. You will be met by your friendly guide and transferred to the 4-star hotel. Afternoon city tour to The Bund and Xintiandi, a well known boutique area full of entertainment and shopping. At night, bars and restaurants open up for business and people fill up the streets.

Today's highlights include a visit to the Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Yuan Garden,and Carpet Factory. Afternoon, visit the Shanghai Museum with Chinese paintings and ancient furniture. Then take a stroll down People Square, where the best architecture surrounds the area. Dinner is followed by an amazing Acrobatic Show.

Today a highlight is to visit Shanghai World Exhibition (Shanghai EXPO). The Exhibition covers a large area of over 5.6 square KM with 27 master halls. The theme is to show all new creational hopes, concepts, designs, technologies, and present to the world a full potential of urban life in the 21st century as a significant one for urban evolution, a New Approaches of Human Habitat, Beautiful Lifestyle. (Shanghai EXPO is on May 01 - Oct 31, 2010)

There will be some free time in the morning to finish your last minute shopping. Say goodbye to Shanghai as you board your transpacific flight home.
