Your journey begins with your transpacific flight. Set your watch a day ahead as you cross the International Dateline.
Day 2 Shanghai
Welcome to Shanghai, the legendary seaport and the gateway to China. The cosmopolitan port city of Shanghai is a treat to the senses with its mix of ancient and modern influences. You will be fascinated by its unique culture and people. You will be met by your friendly guide and transferred to the 4-star Hotel.

Day 3 Shanghai
Today's highlights include a visit to the Yu Yuan Garden and the Bund, which is located along the bank of the Huangpu River. Afternoon visit to the Shanghai Museum. Then take a stroll out the North Gate to the People Square. IF time permits, take a visit to the Carpet Factory. Dinner is followed by an amazing Acrobatic Show.

Morning excursion to Zhujiajiao, an ancient watertown near Shanghai. In the afternoon visit the famouse Jade Buddha Temple, then free time at leisure to explore. *Visit SHANGHAI EXPO when available*

After breakfast, transfer to airport to fly to Yichang. If time permits, enjoy a city tour. Your guide will help you board the beautiful 4-star MV Splendid China of CITS Presidential Cruise. The Yangtze River is the third longest one in the world and the largest in China.

Take a shore excursion to visit the new dam site. Later, absorb the spectacular sights of the Xiling Gorge to Shennong Stream (the God of Agriculture Living Area).

Small boat shore excursion along Shennong Stream, a natural habitat of mandarin ducks and golden-hair monkeys. In the afternoon, admire the breathtaking sights of the narrow cliff walls and dramatic vistas in the Wu Gorge and Qutang Gorge.

Day 8 Three Gorges
Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City or Shibaozhai, the "Pearl of the Yangtze," which is home to a 12-story wooden pagoda, built against the side of a sheer rectangular cliff. Subject to visit Shibaozai Pagoda on the cliff along the river to pray for good luck.

Arrive Chongqing at 9am. Take a city tour. Transfer to the airport to fly to Xian. Stay at the 4-star hotel.

Marvel at the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses in battle formation guarding the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Watch a movie of the historical story there. Afternoon, visit the Ceramics and Pottery Center and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Temple, the landmark of Xian. Enjoy an amazing Tang Dynasty Show after a Dumpling Dinner.

Day 11 Xian - Beijing
Take the flight to Beijing, the capital of China. Today's lunch will be served in-flight. Upon arrival, your guide will transfer you to the 4-star hotel. In the afternoon visit the Summer Palace also know as the Garden of Nurtured Harmony. Enjoy a Peking Opera in the evening.
(B)Day 12 Beijing
Visit the Tian An Men Square, the largest public plaza in the world and the Forbidden City where two-dozen emperors lived from the 15th to the early 20th century. After, visit the Pandas Garden in Beijing Zoo. Visit the Temple of Heaven including the Imperial Hall of Pray Harvest, Vault and Sacrificial Altar. If time permits, we will visit the Pearl workshop.

Day 13 Beijing
On a daylong excursion, start with Beijing Olympic Center - the Bird Next & Water Cube. Snap a photo outside and continue to the mighty Great Wall. It is the only man-made structure visible from the moon - stretching across China for about 4000 miles. En route, you will also visit the ancient Changling of Ming Tombs with Sacred Way. If time permits, visit to a JAde stone carving factory. A delicious Peking Duck Farewell Dinner is planned.
