The 6 student team members were
each assigned tasks and asked to provide Dr. Becker with feedback on how they
felt about their participation in this Peo Pro Bono Outreach. Excerpts of their
remarks are provided below:

"I can't wait to share this experience with my

to be among the people during our work in the village and seeing
first-hand how much this project means to them."

not one that should always focus on profit and glamour; its purpose
extends well beyond these. I have also become more aware of
something I always knew, and that is how fortunate I am to take so
many things for granted."

treasure every second spent in China."

"Too often, we as students spend too much time
buried in the books, huddled around a table in a corner of the
library. We rarely get a chance to see the potential of what we
study. My chosen field of study has unlimited potential and I
cannot describe how exciting that is." |
