| Day 1 Kota Kinabalu Arrive in the Kota Kinabalu Airport, and proceed to Coral Island jetty for an island tour with a packed lunch. Return to Kota Kinabalu city in the late afternoon and check in to the hotel of your choice. Explore, relax or shop at your own leisure in the evening. (L) |
| Day 2 Kota Kinabalu After breakfast, depart Northbound on a drive to Kinabalu National Park at an elevation of 5000 feet above sea level. You will get an opportunity to see native villages, handicraft stalls, Rubber plantations and fruit orchards along the route. Upon reaching the Park, join in a trail walk and visit the Mount Kinabalu Botanical Gardens. Learn about the rich flora and fauna at the Park's Exhibit Centre. Lunch is included. In the late afternoon, depart back to Kota Kinabalu to your hotel. (B/L) |
| Day 3 Kota Kinabalu - Miri After breakfast, transfer to the Kota Kinabalu Airport for your flight to Miri. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Mulu. In the afternoon, visit the Deer Caves and Lang Caves. Return to your resort in the evening and have dinner. (B/D) |
| Day 4 Miri - Kuching Have breakfast in your nature resort and depart for a visit to the Wind Caves and Clear Water Caves. Lunch is provided en route. Return to the resort after your tour & transfer to the airport for flight back to Miri and onward flight to Kuching. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore. Please prepare an overnight bag for the Jungle Excursion tomorrow, taking with you only essential personal items for the trip. It is not advisable to carry your big suitcase for this overnight tour. (B/L) |
| Day 5 Kuching - Lemanak River Meet the natives of Borneo and spend an unforgettable night with them in the longhouse. This journey takes you 290 km into the beautiful countryside, with scenic stops along the way. On arrival at the jetty, board native longboats and head up the river to meet the native Iban tribe. Upon arrival you will be taken on a tour of the longhouse to meet the natives and their families. After dinner, join the Iban's activities in the longhouse. Don't leave without tasting their rice wine called "Tuak". Spend the night in the longhouse. It is customary to bring some gifts for the longhouse people which can be divided by the number of families. Our guide will assist you during one of the stops en route to buy some suitable presents. This custom is only applicable to longhouse river safaris. (B/L/D) |
| Day 6 Lemanak River - Kuching The cockerels will wake you in the morning. After breakfast, join the Ibans in a blowpipe demonstration. Then, take a journey back to your hotel in Kuching, with lunch en route. (B/L) |
| Day 7 Kuching After breakfast at the Hotel, check out and transfer to the airport for flight to your next destination. (B) |
