Day 1     Home City - Beijing
Your journey begins with boarding your transpacific flight to Beijing. Set your watch a day ahead as you cross the international dateline.

Day 2     Beijing
Welcome to Beijing, capital city of the world's most populous nation. You will be met by your friendly guide and transfer to the impressive Beijing Wangfu Peninsula 5-star Hotel. Retreat to the comforts of your hotel or stroll around. Take some time to immerse yourself in your new surroundings. (B/L/D)

Day 3     Beijing
Visit Tian An Men Square, the largest public plaza in the world. Wander around Forbidden City - the Imperial Palace during the Ming and Qing Dynasties; once home to two-dozen Emperors and the largest, most well preserved imperial palace complex. Stroll through the beautiful Summer Palace, currently designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch will be served dim sum style at a popular spot with the Beijing locals. Later, experience the thrill of an Acrobatic Show.) (B/L/D)

Day 4     Beijing
Lace up your walking shoes as today, you'll walk the mighty Great Wall of China. Built over 2,000 years ago and world famous for its architectural grandeur and historical significance, the Great Wall remains one of the most fascinating attractions for people from all over the world. Enjoy a stroll through Beijing Olympic Village. Tonight, you will feast on a scrumptious Peking Duck Dinner. (B/L/D)

Day 5     Beijing
Embark on the Hutong Tour (also called a Rickshaw Tour) through ancient residential areas, giving you fresh insight into Beijing’s local life. Lunch served today to be Western Buffett style. Retreat to the comforts of your hotel late afternoon or spend some free time to shop, relax and have dinner (B/L/D)

Day 6     Beijing – Xian
This morning, visit the impressive Temple of Heaven. This temple is seen as the most holy of Beijing's imperial temples and was where the emperor came every winter solstice to worship Heaven and to solemnly pray for a good harvest. Although in imperial times commoners were not allowed to enter the enormous park, today the space is open to all. Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Xian and transfer to 5-star Shangri-la Hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 7      Xian
Explore Xian, home of the world famous Terra Cotta Warriors. In 1974, a farmer uncovered one of the major archaeological discoveries of the 20th century: the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang guarded by the Terra Cotta Warriors. Marvel at the statues of 8,000 life-size warriors and horses in battle formation, guarding the Emperor and his precious treasures. In the afternoon, visit the ancient City Wall. After dinner, attend the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. (B/L/D)

Day 8     Xian – Guilin
Visit the Grand Mosque, a fine example of the symmetrical design seen in traditional Chinese architecture. During the Tang Dynasty, Moslems traveled the world famous Silk Road to Chang'an (former Xian) bringing Islam to China. With the support of Tang Emperor Xuanzong (685-762, reigned 712-756), the Great Mosque was established in 742. It is a fine example of cultural merging. Lunch is served today in the style of “hot pot”. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the well-preserved Buddhist shrine and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Later, transfer to the airport for a flight to Guilin and transfer to the 5-star Sheraton Hotel or similar. Take in the tranquil beauty of Guilin and enjoy some leisure time. (B/L/D)

Day 9     Guilin
Experience stunning landscapes, lush tropical greenery and unique needle-like limestones as you cruise the Li River. Arrive in Yangshuo this afternoon, and stroll the bustling markets. Later, you have the opportunity to attend the Liu Sanjie Show, an amazing presentation using the spectacular landscape of Yangshuo as a natural setting. (B/L/D)

Day 10     Guilin – Hong Kong
Continue to enjoy the peaceful nature of this magical place called Guilin. Visit the rock formations of water-eroded Reed Flute Cave, towering Fubo Hill and charming Elephant Trunk Hill. Transfer to the airport and fly to HKG. Upon arrival, you will be met and transfer to the impressive 5-star Intercontinental Hotel or similar. (B/L/D)

Day 11     Hong Kong
On a private tour, spend a half-day in Hong Kong island viewing sights such as Victoria Peak, Repulse Bay and the Aberdeen Fishing Village. Hong Kong is divided into four sections: Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, the New Territories, and numerous outlying islands. One hundred sixty-four square miles of dense real estate dominate Hong Kong Island, including massive banks, financial houses, enormous skyscrapers with futuristic architecture, opulent hotels, residential compounds on Victoria Peak, beautiful beach resorts and some of the oldest Chinese communities in the region. A free morning to explore or shop – the Open Air Markets are just a few minutes walk from your hotel. Later, transfer to your embark your luxury cruise Seabourn Pride. Departs at 1700 (B/L/D)

Day 14     Cai Lan (hanoi), Vietnam
Arrive at 0700am. Hanoi exudes an exotic, early European character not found elsewhere in Vietnam. Its 1,000-year old history has lent the city a fascinating blend of influences and styles where the medieval and modern co-exist. Here you will find bustling street markets, chaotic traffic & distinctive shops contrasting dramatically with quiet lakes, historic temples, and regal architecture of the French colonial districts. Day 16     Da Nang, Vietnam
Arrive at 0800am. Da Nang, known as “Tourane” by the French, succeeded Hoi An as the most important port in central Vietnam during the 19th century. Today, Da Nang's distance from other power centers, its natural endowments, (the port and proximity to Laos and Thailand), and its high degree of provincial autonomy allows for considerable local initiative. Among the Da Nang area sites of interest to visitors are the Marble Mountains, China Beach, the ancient port town of Hoi An and the imperial city of Hue. Depart at 1800 (B/L/D)

Day 18     Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Arrive at 1000am. Ho Chi Minh City covers an area of more than 800 square miles, stretching westward from the South China Sea to the Cambodian border. Its land is overwhelmingly rural, dotted with villages and clusters of houses set amidst rice paddies. The downtown section of Ho Chi Minh City is still known as Saigon, Vietnam’s largest metropolis and undisputed capital of commerce. Long before traffic took over, this city had already been christened, the “Paris of Asia” for its wide boulevards lined with stately trees and magnificent French villas. Today, you will find markets, sidewalk cafes, centuries-old pagodas, sleek skyscrapers and ramshackle wooden shops all competing for your attention. The level of activity and energy of this city will amaze you as you become clear this city does not intend to stand still! (B/L/D)

Arrive at 0830am. Offering pure bliss and relaxation for those who enjoy white sand beaches and sparkling water, visit Ko Kood Island. Day 22     Bangkok, Thailand
Arrive at 0800am. Bangkok is a city of endless fascination, where there is something for everybody. An exhilarating mix of chaos and refinement here you will find countless high-rise buildings, frantic markets, golden temples, early-morning alms-giving rituals alongside ultra hip and trendy designer boutiques. Located in the heart of the city, is the Chao Phraya River and its vast network of canals (klongs) as important to local transportation as the intricate road system.
