Take pleasure when you sample a taste of India with trips to her most fabled historical and cultural places. Tour the pink city, visit the Taj Mahal and explore some of India’s many temples representing the region’s rich religious and cultural diversity.

Day 1     Home City - Taipei
Your journey begins by boarding China Airlines flight CI31 at 0130. Move your watch one day ahead as you cross the international dateline.

Day 2     Taipei - Delhi
Arrive Taipei at 0540. Connect to CI181 at 0750 and arrive at 1145. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be met at the airport. Transfer from Airport to the 4-Star Star Grand Villa Hotel or similar.

Day 3     Delhi
Morning sightseeing of Old Delhi, visiting Raj Ghat: Cremation Garden of Mahatma Gandhi followed by a visit to the Mughal monument of Jama Masjid and a photo stop at Red Fort. Afternoon sightseeing of New Delhi where you will visit the mighty Qutub Minar (Victory Tower), the unique lotus shaped Bahai Temple, and a photo stop at India Gate (War Memory arch) – President Palace & Parliament House. Following is a visit to the Sikh Temple at Bangla Sahib. (B/D)

Day 4     Delhi - Mandawar (280 Kms /6.5 Hrs)
After breakfast, visit The Bahá'í House (closed on Monday) of Worship in Delhi, also known as the Lotus Temple due to its flowerlike shape. It was completed in 1986 and serves as the Mother Temple of the Indian subcontinent. It has won numerous architectural awards and has been featured in hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles. As with all other Bahá'í Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion, or any other distinction, as emphasized in Bahá'í texts. The Bahá'í laws emphasize that the spirit of the House of Worship is a gathering place where people of all religions may worship God without denominational restrictions. After visiting the Lotus Temple drive to Mandawa. Upon arrival, check in at the 3-Star Indra Vilas or similar. (B/D)

Day 5     Mandawa – Pushkar ( 260 Kms /06 Hrs)
Join a morning walking tour of Mandawa (Shekawati region) – Painted Havelis Enjoy an afternoon drive to Pushkar. Upon arrival, check in at the 4-Star Pushkar Resort or similar. (B/D)

Day 6     Pushkar - Jaipur (140 Kms /03 Hrs)
Stroll through Pushkar, visiting the Bazaar, the Brahma temple and experience a Special Pooja ceremony on Ghat with a Hindu priest. Drive on to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check in at the 4-Star Mandawa Haveli Hotel or similar. Enjoy an evening demonstrating carpet weaving and block printing to learn more about the Crafts of Rajasthan (B/D)

Day 7     Jaipur
Like the Maharajas, experience the thrill of riding on an Elephant’s back (subject to availability) as you visit the Amber Palace of the Kuchchawa rulers. After this, you will embark on a half day city tour of Pink City, which includes Hawa Mahal: the palace of winds (Photo-stop). Attention: Science Lovers! Take note of this visit to Jantar Mantar, an observatory built by the founder of Jaipur in 1728AD and the City Palace Museum which contains the original collection of the Maharajas of Jaipur. Enjoy a Rickshaw ride through the old part of Pink city and an evening demonstrating gem cutting and polishing by Jaipur’s world renowned gem producers (B/D)

Day 8     Jaipur - Sariska (120 Kms /03 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Sariska. Upon arrival, check into hotel. View wildlife during an afternoon Jeep safari at Sariska National Park. Overnight stay at the 4-Star Sariska Palace or similar. (B/D)

Day 9     Sariska - Agra (260 Kms /06 Hrs)
Drive to Agra after breakfast and check into hotel. You will visit the Agra Fort this afternoon, an elegant building for which the interior reflects an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architecture built by Emperor Akbar. You will also have a chance to witness the inlay work of precious and semi-precious stones during a demonstration of marble craftsmanship. Overnight stay at the 4-Star Utkarsh Vilas or similar. Day 10     Agra - Delhi (203 Kms /04 Hrs)
Experience the glory of the Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays). The Taj Mahal is perhaps the most photographed monument in the world, but photographs do no justice to the magnificence of this structure. The beauty of this monument is something you have to experience in person, and at least once in your lifetime. Breakfast at the hotel to follow this visit. After breakfast, drive to Delhi and transfer to 4-Star Star Grand Villa or similar. (B/D)

Day 11     Delhi - Taipei
Transfer to the airport, depart via CI182 at 1300 and arrive Taipei at 2150. Connect to CI32 at 2315 and arrive at 1925 same day. (B)
